Hello.
My name is Johanny Tejada and I am proud to be the owner of a daycare program here in Jersey City. As a devoted member of the community, I am actively involved in various organizations that focus on giving back. Currently, I am a member of the esteemed Jersey City Rotary Club, where I had the honor of serving as the secretary in 2022. Before starting my own preschool pod program, I was a preschool teacher for five years in Hoboken, NJ.
My Story
Volunteering has always been a core part of who I am, and I find immense joy in dedicating my time and efforts towards causes that make a difference. In addition to my involvement with the Rotary Club, I am also an active volunteer with Jersey Cares, an organization that believes in the power of collective action and community engagement.
Education has played a crucial role in shaping my perspective and approach to childcare. I hold a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from NJCU (New Jersey City University). This academic background has allowed me to develop strong critical thinking skills, nurturing an environment where creativity and individuality are valued.
With my passion for early childhood development and my commitment to fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment, I am excited to provide a nurturing space for children to grow and thrive. It is my firm belief that every child deserves the best care and attention, and I strive to create an atmosphere that encourages curiosity, exploration, and the building of strong foundations.
